In its bid to improve the Traffic Management System in the province, the provincial administration will activate the shelved plan for the Cavite Traffic Management Office (CTMO) under the Office of the Provincial Governor, which was approved on November 27, 2000 as per Provincial Ordinance No. 003-S-2000. The CTMO shall be the provincial level coordinating body assigned to execute the management component that shall subsequently evolve into traffic enforcement, traffic education and safety and traffic engineering as its mode of operations and functions. Priority transport corridors will be the Aguinaldo Highway at approximately 42 kilometers from Bacoor to Tagaytay City and Governor Drive at approximately 25 kilometers from Trece Martires City to South Luzon Expressway.
