CCL Week 2016

  Cavite Councilors League (CCL) led by its president, Board Member Kerby Salazar hosted the flag raising ceremonies at the provincial capitol in Trece Martires City on September 19, 2016. BM Salazar presented the schedule for the CCL Week celebration which includes the celebration of CCL week in its councilor’s towns and cities, outreach program for the home for the aged facility in Indang, and the Cavite Councilors League sports fest. The participants were divided into two teams - Cavite North against Cavite South – which will battle to show their excellence in different sports. Closing Plenary will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Orchard in the City of Dasmarinas. He encouraged the members of the CCL to continue its mandate to be an outstanding and reputable law maker in their respective local development units. He also advised them to keep away from corruption and laziness in the performance of their duties and persevere to enact measures and ordinances efficiently for the welfare of their constituents.

  On the other hand, Governor Boying Remulla gave a directive to the Provincial board and the CTMO head to address the problems on traffic management. “ I am giving a directive to the Provincial Board to adopt a resolution authorizing our CTMO to arrest all perpetrators and give tickets, and come up with citation ticket system following relevant refined laws of traffic and if necessary, work with different councils in different town and cities of the province to adopt the same system of traffic management, “ the governor said. He stressed that the law has to be enforced within the province of Cavite.

The governor also directed the CTMO head, “ I want a more advance seminar on traffic rules and regulations to enhance their knowledge on traffic management, and if necessary , give lectures on law enforcement techniques. Being pro active as public officials is the best thing that we can do and the best thing that ever happened in our constituents. “
