PGC Launches MASA MASID Program


     Cavite Provincial Government thru the Liga ng mga Barangay-Cavite Chapter launched Mamamayang Ayaw Sa Anomalya, Mamamayang Ayaw sa Ilegal na Droga or MASA MASID held at the Provincial Gymnasium, Trece Martires City on February 27, 2016. MASA MASID program was previously launched by the Department of Interior and Local Government which aimed to encourage the people in the community to actively participate in the government’s fight against corruption, illegal drugs and criminality in the barangay. 

     Board Member Francisco Paolo P. Crisostomo, President, Liga ng mga Barangay-Cavite Chapter welcomed guests and barangay officials who attended the launching. Governor Boying Remulla graced the event and expressed his support in the government’s campaign against illegal drugs, corruption and criminality. Provincial Director Allan V. Benitez,DILG-Cavite, presented the overview of MASA MASID program, roles and function of Barangay Masa Masid Team thru an audio-visual presentation. Highlight of the event was the signing and recitation of commitment of support by the officers of Liga ng mga Barangay-Cavite Chapter and barangay officials who were present at the program.Other guests present were PS/SUPT Arthur Bisnar, Provincial Director-PNP and Dir. Archie A. Grande, CESE, Regional Director-PDEA IV-A. (PICAD)
