In its continuing effort to provide health services to Caviteño children, the Provincial Government of Cavite thru the Provincial Council for the Protection of Children conducted a medical and dental mission for public elementary and secondary school students at Ternate West National High School on October 1, 2015.
The Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development Office (PCLEDO) headed by Mr. Alvin S. Mojica again sponsored the Cavite Entrepreneurship Students Conference with the theme, “Advocating Green Economic Development” at the Provincial Gymnasium, Trece Martires City on September 30, 2015. The event was joined by business courses students of twenty nine (29) colleges and universities in the province who also participated in the Trade Fair.
Some four thousand public school teachers from the different cities and municipalities of Cavite gathered at the Ugnayang La Salle of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas City campus on September 28, 2015 during the ICT Integration for Cavite public school teachers where the fourth batch of tablets were distributed. A total of 3991 tablets were handed over by the provincial government led by Gov. Jonvic Remulla and Vice Gov Jolo Revilla to the teachers from the municipalities of Carmona, Alfonso, Maragondon, Naic, Kawit, Rosario and the cities of Tagaytay and Trece Martires.
The first batch of tablets were released on March 16, 2015 at SM City Dasmarinas for the public school teachers of Silang with 1963 tablets distributed while the second batch was distributed on April 20, 2015 at PAGCOR Casino Auditorium in Tagaytay City for the teachers from the municipalities of Amadeo, Indang, Mendez, Magallanes and Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo with a total of 885 tablets. On July 6, 2015, the third batch totaling to 2,327 tablets was released to the teachers of Tanza and Gen. Trias at the Provincial Gymnasium in Trece Martires City. ---Gina Perena
