The Provincial Government of Cavite thru the Provincial Council for the Protection of Children conducted the Kabitenyo Kids’ Fair in celebration of the Children’s Month on November 13, 2015 at the Provincial Gymnasium. One of the highlights of the event is the State of the Children’s Report delivered by Vice-Governor Governor Jolo Revilla as one of the gifts for children.
Around 400 kid beneficiaries aged 3-5 years old enjoyed the whole-day event with arts and crafts sessions, amusement rides, party and entertainment like magic, bubble, and puppet show, and a story-telling session by TV and movie personality, Ms. Rita Avila. Mascots Hetty, Twirlie and Jollibee also added fun to the celebration. -- Rebecca Patricio
Pursuant to the unwavering commitment of the Provincial Government of Cavite to uphold and protect the rights of children, a Kabitenyo Kids’ Fair was conducted in celebration of Cavite Children’s Month on November 13, 2015 at the Provincial Gymnasium, Trece Martires City.
This year’s theme, “Komunidad at Pamahalaan Magkaisa, Pang-aabuso sa Bata, Wakasan Na” highlights protection from all forms of violence, abuse, neglect, exploitation and discrimination and encourages stakeholders to advocate for the protection of children in the homes, schools, community, institution, organization and other settings.
Residents of different barangays in Gen. Mariano Alvarez joined Kalinga sa Kalikasan, the province-wide clean-up drive project initiated by the provincial government under the leadership of Gov. Jonvic Remulla held at San Gabriel II, G.M.A., Cavite.
Gov. Remulla and Vice-Gov. Jolo Remulla were welcomed by Mayor Walter Echevaria. Also present were BM Marcus Amutan, BM Ivee Jane Reyes.
